The difference is "C"-shape insulator.
BNC-LR-PC(40) : Without "C"-shape insulator
BNC-LR-PC-1B(40) : "C"-shape insulator is assembled(Scheduled to be discontinued)
"C"-shape insulator is assembled between the outer conductor on the equipment side and that on the mating side to avoid their contacts.
It may be required for stable connection.
